My role as a UX & UI Designer at Zappar involved our team collaborating with Craze to develop an immersive, AR-powered loyalty campaign for New Zealand’s leading supermarket chain, Countdown. The Super Insects app was designed to bring people back into the experience regularly to collect all the cards, ensuring a constant cadence of engagement in the physical stores and at-home, across the eight-week campaign —creating an engaging, interactive experience that delivered strong results across key performance metrics

To conclude, this is one of my favourite projects to date. Due to the fact that we were allowed such creative freedom to capture the users' attention and hit our key objectives in the brief, which left the client elated and picking up awards in the process. Although there were some technical issues, like a complex colour palette and a slightly inconsistent design system. The drop-off data was really low after the first round of testing. I wish some of the development and transitions were more polished, but overall Super Insects was a successful project!
