Atlanta United- Virtual Kit
Micro Case Study


As my role as a designer in the creative team,  I was tasked with creating a distinctive and user-friendly digital experience for our client, Atlanta United. To create a buzz about the release of the new Atlanta United jersey and encourage fans to get involved in the excitement. This was an in-app augmented reality experience that was featured within Atlanta United’s App. The brief was to create an experience that was fun and engaging whilst also helping Atlanta United boost sales through e-commerce means.

The results were a resounding success. Atlanta United were delighted with the overall experience, which gained strong traction both in-app and across social channels, as fans shared photos and videos of themselves wearing the new kit in a virtual 3D experience. The campaign also drove significant traffic to the online store, successfully meeting sales targets. With such positive outcomes, the project was left open for future jersey launches, including the away and third kits.
